Feest!
Sinds jaar en dag hoor je mij praten over die éne vriend, dat familielid, of die vriendin. Velen van jullie weten dat “die ander” bestaat, maar weinigen hebben elkaar getroffen, of het bleef bij een sporadische ontmoeting. Het werd hoog tijd om hierin verandering te brengen. Ik kijk er enorm naar uit om jullie tegelijkertijd op mijn netvlies te hebben staan – maar meer nog wil ik jullie met elkaar in contact brengen.
Ik wil je graag laten zien aan die ander, omdat ik er trots op ben je in mijn leven te hebben.
“Kijk! Dat is hem, dat is ze!”
Ik wil je graag “delen” met de mensen die mij, net als jij, dierbaar zijn.
Anders gezegd: voor mijn feest ben jij het allerbelangrijkste.
Ik hoop dat je erbij kunt zijn.

Pendant des années, tu m'as entendue parler de tel(le) ami(e), de tel membre de famille. Beaucoup d'entre vous savent que « cet autre » existe, mais peu se connaissent, ou alors cela s’est limité à une rencontre sporadique. Il est grand temps d’y remédier. Je me réjouis énormément de vous voir en même temps - mais plus encore, je tiens à vous mettre en relation les uns avec les autres.
J'aimerais te présenter à mes autres « miens », parce que je suis fière de t’avoir dans ma vie.
« Regarde - c'est lui, c'est elle ! »
Je voudrais te « partager » avec toutes celles et tous ceux qui, comme toi, me sont chèr(e)s.
Autrement dit, pour ma fête, c’est toi qui es le plus important(e).
J'espère que tu pourras être là.

If there's a prime time to savor these days, it's unquestionably the 11 am gathering - the pinnacle of weekend festivity.
While there's no strict dress code, seize this opportunity to adorn yourself. (Ladies, remember, high heels on the lawn may lead to some regrets... 😉)

COSY BRUNCH
It would be a pity to let it all end so suddenly.
So for those who are up for it, please join on Sunday morning at 10 am for a cosy brunch featuring fresh croissants and pains au chocolat. (Tourrettes-sur-Loup boasts an incredible bakery you won't want to miss.)
After brunch, I’ll embark you on a scenic walk through the hills, starting right from the house.
Remember to pack your hiking shoes for this ramble lasting approximately 3 hours.
